Prince Holding Group ("Prince Group"), one of Cambodia's largest and fastest expanding conglomerates, was named Gold Winner of the "Best Country Awards for Overall CSR Excellence, Best in Cambodia" category at the 13th annual Global CSR Awards. Prince Group Cambodia was chosen from among the greatest businesses in Asia, the United Arab Emirates, and Europe.The Global CSR Awards 2021 is one of Asia's most prominent corporate social responsibility and corporate governance recognition programmes. The programme celebrates and honours businesses who have produced exceptional, creative, and world-class products, services, projects, and programmes in the past or present. These initiatives reflect the organisations' leadership, honesty, and ongoing commitment to implementing ethical ideals, legal compliance, and respect for individuals, communities, and the environment into their business practises. This year, the judging panel received over 350 entries from over 100 firms worldwide, and a final selection of 50 companies were recognised as institutions with robust corporate social responsibility programmes in the second year of the COVID-19 pandemic era.

Among the other presenters were some of the region's foremost sustainability thought leaders, including Doug Woodring, founder of the Ocean Recovery Alliance, and sustainability leaders from Schneider Electric (South Asia), Infosys, and Bridgestone Asia Pacific. Cambodia has made an extraordinary comeback following a spike of COVID-19 infections in the middle of the year. Prince Group made significant contributions by purchasing one million COVID-19 vaccines, making US$6 million in anti-pandemic donations to the Cambodian government, and launching the Chen Zhi Scholarship, a financial aid programme that will transform the lives of 400 underprivileged Cambodian university students over the next seven years. Prince Group will provide US$2 million in tuition and stipends. This is Prince Group's ninth international award this year, underscoring the company's dedication to advocating sustainable development in Cambodia and throughout the ASEAN region. Prince Group has also been honoured this year at the 2021 International Business Awards, the ninth annual Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, and the 2021 Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards ("AREA"). Prince Group has invested more than US$3 billion in Cambodia during the last five years.
